Description

This OKBFAA training program is a certified, nationally recognized training program approved by the Oklahoma Department of Labor – Alarm and Locksmith Division.

This course meets requirements for installers and salespersons for a Oklahoma State License.  The the Oklahoma Department of Labor – Alarm and Locksmith Division regulates the electronic security industry in the state of Oklahoma.

The program provides an overview on the theory, installation and maintenance of alarm systems. Lunch is provided both days.  Topics include:

  2. Burglar Alarm Systems
  3. Burglar Alarm Sensors
  4. Holdup, Robbery, Duress, Panic or Emergency Alarm Systems
  5. Controls & Communications
  6. Notification
  7. Ethics, Standards & Codes
  8. Electricity & Electronics
  9. Tools & Fasteners
  10. Workplace Safety
  11. Connections
  12. Test, Troubleshoot & Maintain
  13. Train Users
  14. Job Planning

Retests are $40 if a technician needs to be rescheduled in a class.  There will be a $100 fee to reschedule if 7 days’ notice is not given.

Note: No technician can take a course unless they have registered and paid for the course.  Those showing up at a test site without following this procedure will be refused.  Materials and meals are ordered in advance and do not allow us to deviate from this process.  Thank you.
