This OKBFAA training program is a certified, nationally recognized training program approved by the Oklahoma Department of Labor – Alarm and Locksmith Division.

The Oklahoma Department of Labor – Alarm and Locksmith Division regulates the electronic security industry in the state of Oklahoma.

Virtual 2-Day Classes are taught by live instructors

  • All virtual classes are held via Zoom Webinar.
  • The instructors are teaching live (no recorded training) and the students can interact during the course.
  • The registration fee includes the exam and a pdf copy of the course book.
  • There is a $100 reschedule fee is notification of not able to attend the class is not given within 5 days.
  • There is a $50 retest fee if the student does not pass the exam after the 2nd attempt.
  • Cut-off for class registration is the Friday week prior to the training at midnight.
  • All class information is sent to the student on the Monday of the week of the course.

OnDemand Classes are previously recorded classes

  • The registration fee includes the video link, course booklet (pdf)  and exam.
  • There is a $50 retest fee if the student does not pass the exam after the 2nd attempt.
  • All class information is sent by email and course book mailed to the student after receiving registration and payment.

The program provides an overview on the theory, installation and maintenance of Video Surveillance & Access Control systems.

This course meets requirements for managers for a Oklahoma State License. 

The program covers: Alarm, Locksmith, Fire Sprinkler Administrative Rules and Statutes, Incident Reporting, Worker Compensation – Who’s Covered and Reporting, Disability.Safety Rules.Ladder Safety, Fall and Electrical Hazards, Power and Hand Tools & First Aid

Retests

Retests are available for all courses.
